CURATORSHIP
“In the artistic practice of Rocío Ponce (Lima, 1975), historical research and the use of images from documentary sources support the images she creates as representations of the passage of time. In the fading of colors she preserves the beauty of cyclical processes and enunciates cultural flourishing throughout history. Her large-format canvases and the subtlety of the diversity of Lima’s flora, both endemic and introduced, are calls to the urgent need for conservation of nature, in particular, of fragile ecosystems.”

AN EXHIBITION, A CALL TO ACTION
L
Hills
Fragile coastal ecosystems that form in desert areas thanks to the dense fog that allows the existence of endemic flora and fauna currently under threat.
I
History
Explore the territory and time to recognize endemic and introduced flowers. They are a call to value the diversity of the past, present and future in all its forms.
M
Conservation
We would like to pay tribute to those who have contributed and continue to work on this path, striving to protect and conserve flowers and ecosystems threatened with extinction.
